Research & Development

All our products are the result of our own research and development. Most of our customers turn to us in the situations where conventional solutions do not exist or stop working satisfactorily. At first, we analyse each new problem together with the customer.

If we can see a possible way to solve the problem, we proceed to the elaboration of the feasibility study, on the basis of which we reach the detailed understanding of this problem. Only when we are sure that we can fulfil the customer’s needs, we approach to the development of a technical solution.

Before the final deployment of the product in the production process, together with the customer, we will test the product in the operation, during which we will reveal any deviations from the specified requirements. After the end of the testing operation, the device is handed over to the customer and the process of its development is completed. In addition to the industrial development, we also participate in the preparation and solution of the national or international scientific projects.

RESEARCH IN PRACTICE

Processing of studies from the operational measurements

Recent studies, mathematical models and simulations, verification on the functional models or by the practical experiments

Research of Special Sensors

Modern materials allow the utilization of various physical principles to measure the required physical quantity. Practical solutions sometimes require the use of the atypical approaches or materials. The portfolio of our activities also includes research of special sensors that exactly meet the customer's requirements. We have experience in the management of the scientific projects in cooperation with the industry and also with the academic sector. The development of the modern and innovative measuring systems can be started also on the basis of the cooperation on a research project.

Development of Smart Measurement Systems

Measurement systems often involve complex functions that enable advanced signal processing and the search for the specific events, values, or the behaviour of the measured quantity. In some cases, the smart evaluation is achieved by combining of several measured quantities, after the supplementing of the original measurement system with the additional data and their combination with the measured physical quantity. If interested, it is possible to carry out research using the elements of the artificial intelligence.

Digital Signal Processing

In order to achieve the desired measurement results, it is necessary to use the possibilities of the digital processing of the sensor signals. Every customer solution is original, and our procedures for the signal filtering and processing are also original. All process parts of the signal processing are our solutions with regard to the specific goals. In our work, we use statistical, time and frequency analyses and their combinations.

An individual approach to customer needs requires original solutions.

Tension in the Conveyor Belt, Analysis of Ratios during Start-Up

A comprehensive project focused on the measurements, simulations and analysis on the selected section of the belt transport in the start-up mode for the evaluation of the existing state of the start-up and proposals to solve the situation with the goal to minimize the risk of the breaking of the belt during the start-up phase.

From the cybernetical point of view, the conveyor belt is a complex system, it has its own dynamic properties, to which the control loop needs to be adapted. The critical operational modes of the conveyor belt are the starting and stopping phases. In these modes, a significant amount of energy is accumulated and released into and out of the elastic deformations of the conveyor belt. The induced mechanical stresses can cause the belt oscillations in the longitudinal direction, which can lead to the resonance and, in the worst case, to the mechanical damage of the conveyor line. In order to prevent these undesirable conditions, we participated in the analysis of the mechanical stress ratios in the conveyor belt.

Marking of Conveyor Belts

The conveyor belt marking system, in abbreviation ZDP. The prototype of the ZDP system was sequentially verified, adjusted and optimized as a part of the testing operation on the selected conveyors, which lead to the verification of the method of the code marks’ implementation.

Increasing of the operation time without a failure is the goal of every maintenance department. Glued joints are one of the critical points of the conveyor belts. The belt vulcanization is often performed under demanding conditions that affect the quality of the joint. The resulting joint represents a critical point of the conveyor belt, which creates the need to distinguish, mark and subsequently monitor these points. For the marking needs in the difficult operating conditions, we have developed in cooperation with our partners the conveyor belt marking system using the magnetism.
